Spread the love

The 2016 Edinburgh Fringe Festival is just around the corner and we were fortunate to catch a preview of the ‘World’s Greatest Imaginary Jazz Bar’ at Kansas Smitty's in Broadway Market, just before its month long residency up north throughout August.

London’s favourite jazz bar, Kansas Smitty’s will take over the industrial location of Leith’s Biscuit Factory offering Jazz and the Juleps which are regularly available at their Broadway Market basement site. Alongside Kansas Smitty’s house band, acts include Kitty, Daisy & Lewis, Bad manners CC Smugglers, Sons of Kemet and Swindle

The jazz rave will be on every Thursday, Friday and Saturday and for those who love blues, this is not to be missed. Make sure you get your hands on one of the four Jim Beam Juleps on the menu as well as beers from the Tempest Brewery and a range of quality options for spirit mixers. Soul food is all part of the mix too!

If it’s anything like the bar in London (which it will be, on a grander scale), this is something to look forward to.
